A Holiday Recipe from a Family Who’s Home Again

Your support through last year’s Home for the Holidays campaign helped Mary and Joseph Batiste return home in time for Thanksgiving.

The couple had been in their Houston home for 50 years. It’s where they raised their daughter and planned to live out their golden years until Hurricane Harvey changed those plans. After two years of living with their daughter in her one-room apartment, Ms. Mary was overjoyed to return home and “cook a big delicious meal” for her family.
