Knowledge is power—especially in the face of more frequent natural disasters and extreme weather events. We empower households, businesses, and community leaders with essential tools to proactively prepare and build resilience to minimize loss and suffering. We cannot know exactly when disasters will strike, but we can reduce their impact by planning ahead and taking collective action.
SBP focuses on minimizing the impact of disasters by equipping households, businesses, and community leaders with crucial knowledge and tools for better disaster preparedness and resilience. Our goal is not only to expedite recovery but also to make communities more ready and protected before disasters strike by sharing lessons learned models for success and piloting new ways to increase individual and collective preparedness.
