How Our Prepare Program Works

SBP focuses on minimizing the impact of disasters by equipping households, businesses, and community leaders with crucial knowledge and tools for better disaster preparedness and resilience. Our goal is not only to expedite recovery but also to make communities more ready and protected before disasters strike by sharing lessons learned models for success and piloting new ways to increase individual and collective preparedness.

Who We Serve

Households: SBP offers preparedness and resilience trainings (in-person and webinars) focused on risk identification, emergency planning, document protection, insurance guidance, and mitigation.

Businesses: SBP provides training to safeguard employees and ensure business continuity, covering employee home preparedness and strategies to protect assets and operations effectively.

Community Leaders: SBP partners with national and local nonprofits, as well as government officials, to deliver specialized campaigns, training, and technical advisory services to help better prepare communities and enable action in areas with high disaster risks.
