Grants Opening Soon! We are excited to announce our Hurricane Helene FORTIFIED Roofing Grant Opportunities for nonprofits in Tennessee and North Carolina. By providing FORTIFIED roofs, these grants strengthen at-risk homes and neighborhoods, preserve equity by protecting a homeowner's most valuable asset, and create more resilient communities. These grants are available to locally based 501(c)(3) nonprofits and will provide up to $14,181 per home in Tennessee and up to $9,750 per home in North Carolina. Organizations that previously operated in the community or Appalachian region through homebuilding or other social services are welcome to apply. Funding is limited to six roofs per organization. Organizations must provide proof of funds to leverage in order to cover the full cost of the roof.
